Crews battled a fire at a laundromat in Nassau County on Wednesday.
The Valley Stream Fire Department says it responded to Laundry Palace on Merrick Road for a dryer fire.
Firefighters had to dig out several fire hydrants buried in snow before they could put out the flames.
Officials are continuing to ask everyone to make sure the hydrants in front of homes and businesses are properly shoveled.
There were no reported injuries.
