A fundraiser held Wednesday at the Maidstone Hotel in East Hampton raised $40,000 for the Children's Museum of the East End.
Local business leaders and community members attended and supported the cause.
Optimum News, Programming and Business Services President Keith Bowen says it was a shining example of giving back to the public.
“It's local supporting local. It's what we do every day. Create a lot of energy and a lot of opportunity for businesses on the East End,” he said.
