her two kids alone in a freezing car while she went shopping.
Police say
someone called to report the children alone in a car in the parking lot of the
Smith Haven Mall around 6 p.m. Wednesday.
When
officers arrived, they found a 9-year-old
girl and 3-year old boy in a car that was not running.
The
temperature was about 37 degrees at the time.
The children’s
mother, Guadalupe Guevara-Diaz, 27, was arrested.
The
children were not hurt.
