3ds agoThe deadline to submit a bid for one for three coveted downstate full casino licenses has passed - and a proposal at Nassau Coliseum is not among the eight bidders.
The submissions include plans to build casinos in Times Square, on the Coney Island Boardwalk and Citi Field.
As News 12 previously reported, Sands withdrew its bid to build a casino at Nassau Coliseum earlier this year.
The state is expected to pick three winners by the end of the year.
