Nassau police say an overnight clerk at a BP gas station in Hicksville was killed early Tuesday morning, but they aren?t releasing many details.

Police responded to the scene after two separate 911 calls were placed at approximately 5:30 a.m. Dharam Paul, 50, was found on the floor of the gas station store with stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene just before 6 a.m. He resided in Valley Stream, and friends say he was working to support his family back in India.

The BP station is located near an Exxon station that was the scene of a fatal stabbing in 2006. Police have not made any arrests in that case and are looking to see whether there are any similarities between the two.
