All the super-spellers from Long Island who made it to the Scripps National Spelling Bee have been eliminated.
Six Long Islanders were among the 567 kids who took part in the preliminary rounds.
Round three continues on Wednesday.
No more than 50 spellers will make it to the final round, which will air live on ESPN on Thursday night.
The winner will take home $50,000.
