2-car collision in Mahopac damages building

Two cars crashed into a building in Mahopac Saturday afternoon.
The Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department says it happened just before 4 p.m. at 551 Route 6.
The cars took out two support columns, compromising the roof.
The scene has been turned over to the town of Carmel building inspector, and the fire department says one person was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation.
