2 adults, dog displaced after North Massapequa house fire

Fire crews responded to a house fire in North Massapequa Thursday evening.

Flames broke out around 6:30 p.m. on Seneca Drive, fire officials say.

Firefighters had to smash windows while working to get it under control.

The Nassau fire marshal’s office tells News 12 everyone inside the home was able to escape on their own.

No injuries to residents or responders were reported.

Two adults and a dog are currently displaced because of the blaze.

The cause is under investigation by the fire marshal and the Nassau police Arson/Bomb Squad.
