WWII veterans take off from MacArthur Airport for Honor Flight to D.C.

More than 100 World War II veterans boarded a plane and flew out of MacArthur Airport this morning for a special trip to the nation's capital.
It was all thanks to the Honor Flight organization, which takes veterans and their families to D.C. twice a year. All of the veterans will get to check out the war memorial there.
More than 1,000 veterans have participated since the organization's launch.
