The carnival has rides and games for kids of all ages and plenty of snacks. The Town of Greenport is within walking distance to shopping and the waterfront. The fireworks are visible from the carnival, at the high school and at locations downtown. General admission is free with ride tickets. Ride bracelets are available for purchase.

Sculptors use sand, water and other natural materials native to the beach. Prizes will be awarded for the best sculptors and castles. Free to participate, $10 vehicle entrance fee. Registration is from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the park's beach house.

City Of Glen Cove Independence Day Celebration

Meet in Village Square to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, sing patriotic songs and enjoy cookies and lemonade compliments of the Glen Cove Youth Bureau. Festivities continue at Morgan Memorial Park with a ribbon cutting for the beautiful, newly restored gazebo at 3:00 pm. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy live music by Northwinds Band at 7:45 p.m. Following the concert, at approximately 9:15 p.m., everyone will be treated to a spectacular 4th of July fireworks display.
