Storm Watch Meteorologist Krystal Ellis says there will be some scattered showers that linger into the early morning, but Sunday will be warm and comfortable. 
WHATS NEW: Unsettled and muggy weather continues with cloudy skies, scattered showers and storms passing through. A few isolated thunderstorms may be strong to severe unleashing damaging wind gusts of 40-60 mph and heavy downpours that could lead to localized street flooding.
WHAT'S NEXT: Overnight storms taper off to scattered showers that may linger into the very early hours of Sunday before skies begin to brighten from west to east through early to mid-afternoon. Sunday afternoon as well as Independence Day will feature mostly sunny skies, lower humidity levels and seasonably warm highs in the low 80s.
TONIGHT: SW Mainly cloudy and muggy with scattered showers and thunderstorms moving through. Some thunderstorms are capable of becoming severe with strong wind gusts, heavy downpours, and small hail.
Southwest winds 5-10 mph. Lows near 68.
SUNDAY: Leftover early morning showers and clouds may linger but will give way to afternoon sunshine. North winds 5-10 mph. Seasonably warm and comfortable with highs near 82. Lows near 65.
INDEPENDENCE DAY: A holiday gem! Mostly sunny with highs near 82. Lows near 68.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny to start with increasing clouds in the afternoon and showers developing at night. Highs near 80. Lows near 65.
WEDNESDAY: Morning clouds give way to a mostly sunny afternoon with highs near 81. Lows near 66.
THURSDAY:  A mix of sun and clouds with more clouds in the late afternoon and a chance for showers developing at night. Highs near 80 and lows near 67.
