News 12 is remembering longtime meteorologist Norm Dvoskin, who has died at the age of 93.

Dvoskin was one of the first faces on News 12 and delivered weather forecasts for 30 years until retired in 2016.

His unique style of mixing weather and humor with witty puns, quips and jokes always had viewers smiling.

He even wrote a pair of weather-related humor books.

Before his time at News 12, Dvoskin had a long career with Grumman in Bethpage where he researched how the environment impacted Grumman's projects.

The longtime Melville resident was a father of three and a grandfather.

His services will be held at Gutterman's Jewish Funeral Home in Woodbury on Oct. 1.
