A middle school teacher is accused of exposing himself to a 13-year-old boy in Roosevelt Field Mall Saturday.
Police say that 31-year-old David Martz, a math teacher at Turtle Hook Middle School in the Uniondale School District, admitted to exposing himself to the boy in a mall bathroom near Nordstrom?s.
?Mr. Martz approached the child, sexually gratified himself in front of the child,? said Det. Sgt. James Watson, of the Nassau County Police Department.
Police say that the boy ran from the bathroom crying and found his mother. Mall security and police then arrested Martz, who had no prior arrests on his record.
Martz, who also works part-time at the Boys and Girls Club in Oyster Bay, admitted to doing the same thing on previous occasions, according to police. Authorities are looking for other victims.
A Uniondale School District spokesperson says that Martz has been suspended while the district awaits more information from law enforcement officials.
