Suffolk Sheriff's Office: Farmingville man stopped for speeding is Pennsylvania fugitive

Jason Rodriguez has a warrant out for his arrest for allegedly breaking into his girlfriend's house, hitting her with a belt and holding her hostage for 20 hours.

A Farmingville man who was caught for speeding was identified as a fugitive from Pennsylvania, the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office says.
They say 21-year-old Jason A. Rodriguez was pulled over on Nicholls Road around 4 a.m. Sunday.
He had a warrant out for his arrest for allegedly breaking into his girlfriend's house, hitting her with a belt and holding her hostage for 20 hours.
Rodriguez is awaiting extradition back to Pennsylvania.
