Today was such a beautiful winter day on Long Island once the early morning drizzle and fog got out of the way, despite the wind gusts occasionally up to 30 mph at times! Tonight will be partly cloudy, cold and dry with lows in the lower 30s and less wind than this afternoon.
Tomorrow is going to be another really terrific winter weather day to try and enjoy with a mix of sunshine and some passing clouds along with high temperatures in the middle 40s.
Weekend outdoor plans still look wet unfortunately! Rain showers will develop Friday afternoon and it still looks like we will see anywhere from 1 to 2 inches of rain on Saturday. That rain doesn't end until Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon will be the nicest part of the weekend with mostly quiet and more seasonable temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s on the way for most of next week.
