Suffolk police: Man arrested for DWI; woman seriously injured in LIE crash
Police say Sargunvir Sondhi was driving a Mercedes Benz eastbound around 5 a.m. when he smashed the back of a Nissan Sentra near Exit 51, causing the Mercedes to flip over.

2h agoA man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a crash that seriously injured a woman on the Long Island Expressway in Dix Hills.
Police say Sargunvir Sondhi was driving a Mercedes Benz eastbound around 5 a.m. when he smashed the back of a Nissan Sentra near Exit 51, causing the Mercedes to flip over.
The Nissan, containing Plainview residents Irene and Howard Weitz, was totaled in the accident.
Irene Weitz was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Howard Weitz, the driver, was uninjured. Sondhi was also uninjured.
