School student threatened students and faculty on Wednesday, police say.
A 15-year-old male
student yelled into a classroom, "I'm going to shoot up the school."
The student was
detained by Riverhead High School security and was found to not be in
possession of any weapons.
The student was
arrested and taken to the Riverhead Police Department, in the company of his
parents. He was charged with one count of making a terroristic threat.
A search of the
15-year-old's residence for any weapons was also conducted. No weapons were
located.
