Two people were robbed in the parking lot of the Ronkonkoma Long Island Rail Road station over the weekend, police say.

Suffolk detectives say it happened on Saturday, Aug. 16 around 1:30 a.m.

Two people in a 2018 Mercedes were approached by “multiple subjects” who were armed with what police say were handguns.

Police say the suspects stole the vehicle, a cellphone and a wallet containing cash. The amount of cash that was stolen wasn’t immediately clear.

The two people in the car were not injured.
