A Dix Hills man has been indicted for allegedly murdering his uncle.

Prosecutors say David Cahoon fatally stabbed his 70-year-old uncle William and then stole $1,800.

The victim's body was found inside his Levittown home on Jan. 4, about a month after the alleged attack.

If convicted, Cahoon could get 25 years to life in prison.

He is being held without bail.
