A woman was held at gunpoint during an attempted robbery overnight in Hicksville, police say.

Police say the victim was getting out of her car on Grand Avenue when she was approached by a masked man with a gun.

News 12 is told the suspect demanded money, but she screamed for help and he ran off.

He was wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and glasses.
