Police: Suspects wanted for stealing $14,000 from woman in parking lot of Wantagh bank
Police say the victim went to the bank to deposit money into her business’s account. After exiting her car, she was approached by a man who claimed to be a police officer and stated that her vehicle had to be moved.

Two suspects are wanted for stealing $14,000 from a woman in the parking lot of a TD Bank in Wantagh Friday.
Police say the victim went to the bank to deposit money into her business’s account.
After exiting her car, she was approached by a man who claimed to be a police officer and stated that her vehicle had to be moved.
The victim walked back to the vehicle and placed her deposit inside, according to authorities. Before she could move the car, another man approached her and said that she had dropped some money.
Police say the woman retrieved the loose money. Upon returning to her car, the cash she had left inside was gone.
No arrests have been made yet. Anyone with information is urged to call police.
