Police are searching for the thief who stole a snake from a Long Island pet store. In surveillance video, a man can be seen taking a ball python from a snake bin inside Repxotica in West Islip.

Police are searching for the thief who stole a snake from a Long Island pet store.
In surveillance video, a man can be seen taking a ball python from a snake bin inside Repxotica in West Islip. 
The incident happened on Friday around 5:30 p.m.
The store's owner says the reptile is rare and worth about $400.
