Police: Moped driver killed after being involved in 2 crashes in North Lawrence
Police say a 48-year-old was driving a moped on the wrong side of the road on Rockaway Turnpike when he was involved in a head-on collision.

17h agoPolice say a man has died after back-to-back crashes in North Lawrence.
According to police, the crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police say a 48-year-old was driving a moped on the wrong side of the road on Rockaway Turnpike when he was involved in a head-on collision with a Honda SUV.
After the crash, the moped and its driver were hit by a box truck.
The driver of the moped was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 57-year-old driver of the Honda and 21-year-old driver of the box truck were not hurt.
