Police say a man was tied up and held at gunpoint by two intruders during a home invasion in Springs early Thursday morning.
The incident happened around 3 a.m. on Norfolk Street. Police say two men, both of them carrying handguns, broke into the home through a locked basement door. They then allegedly tied up the 56-year-old resident, held him at gunpoint and ransacked the house.
Police say the robbers, who were wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts, made off with "unknown proceeds."
It's unclear at this point if the attack was random or targeted.
Police say the victim was able to free himself after the intruders left. He was not hurt.
News 12 spoke with the victim Thursday night. He didn't want to appear on camera but says he's doing fine.
