Police say a Plainview man was killed in a one-car crash in Melville last night.
Police say Eric Schneider, 50, was driving a car westbound on Old Country Road near Old East Neck Road when he drove over a median and struck a guardrail.
Schneider was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives believe Schneider may have experienced a medical emergency prior to the crash.
