Police: Man dies following West Babylon Sunrise Highway crash

Police say a man somehow lost control of his Audi and hit a guardrail between the highway and service road.

A man has died following a crash in West Babylon.
The crash happened in the eastbound lanes on the Sunrise Highway between exits 37 and 38. It shut down the road for hours after 7 p.m. Monday.
Police say a man somehow lost control of his Audi and hit a guardrail between the highway and service road.
The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim has not yet been identified.
