Suffolk Police have identified the body found in a wooded area in Manorville as missing Riverhead woman.

Kathleen Harrison Trent, 63, was reported missing to the Riverhead Town Police on January 29th .

As News 12 previously reported, Trent was last seen at her home in Riverhead, about 6 miles from where this body was found off Connecticut Avenue and S River Road. Suffolk County and Riverhead police had been out in the area searching for her when they found the body on February 11th. Detectives believed the cause of death to be criminal in nature.

Suffolk police say the cause of death is under investigation and are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392.
