Woman seriously injured when car, box truck collide in the East End
Police say an 83-year-old woman from Montauk was driving a sedan westbound on Sunrise Highway when she hit the box truck.

A crash involving a car and a box truck left a woman seriously injured Tuesday morning in the East End.
East Hampton Town police say an 83-year-old woman from Montauk was driving a sedan westbound on Sunrise Highway when she hit the box truck.
She was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment, according to authorities.
The truck driver and his passenger were taken to Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department with minor injuries.
The roadway was closed for several hours following the crash, but has since reopened.
Police say no criminality is suspected.
