Investigators are trying to identify a man whose body was found at Captree State Park Monday night.
The body was found just before 10 p.m. Monday.
Officials say he was floating face down in the shallow water off the fishing docks on the north side of Captree Island in Bay Shore.
Police say it is unclear if criminality was involved in the man’s death.
