yesterdayA man is facing charges for assaulting two police officers after an attempted armed robbery at a Patchogue gas station, according to authorities.
Suffolk County police say Justin Delgado, 34, tried to rob the Ultimate Gas Station Wednesday night on West Main Street. He then fought officers who came to arrest him.
The officers were hospitalized with minor injuries.
