One person is dead following a shooting in North Massapequa Saturday, Nassau County police say.
Police say they were called to a home on West Drive at around 11:15 p.m. when shots rang out during a party.
The 21-year-old victim was pronounced dead on the scene shortly after police arrived.
Two other men were also shot and taken to the hospital by other partygoers in stable condition.
Police haven't identified the person killed during the shooting. They say they believe there was one shooter.
Neighbors say they heard so many fireworks that they didn't notice the gunshots.
They say there was a chaotic scene shortly after the shooting, and heard screaming and cars speeding down the road.
Police have not confirmed any information about a possible suspect and if anyone was taken into custody.
