Police say two men were arrested and a third is on the loose following a robbery in Valley Stream Saturday.
They say the 28-year-old victim got into a car accident with Jamal Salter and Kasheem Latham around 5:40 a.m. on Martin Place.
Police say Salter and Latham got out of the car and started punching the victim before stealing his cellphone.
They say the victim was able to run to a nearby home and call police. As police arrived, they say all three suspects took off, crashed into a parked car on Audrey Avenue then fled the scene on foot.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with an injury to his jaw. Salter and Latham were arrested at the scene and are scheduled to be arraigned Sunday.
Police are still searching for a third suspect.
