3h agoOne person was killed and two others were injured in a crash Friday on Sunrise Highway in Shirley, police say.
They say the two-vehicle collision happened at around 1:15 p.m. between exits 57 and 58.
Police also say that the incident resulted in a dump truck ending up in the woods.
The crash closed westbound on Sunrise Highway between William Floyd Parkway and Horseblock Road for several hours, police say.
