The NYPD says it is looking for a suspect seen riding a moped and stealing phones from people in the street.

Police say the suspect is a male with a medium build and was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved sweater, light blue ripped jeans, white sneakers, black baseball cap. He was seen riding on a black moped.

They say the believe he is responsible for at least six phone snatching incidents near the 49th Precinct in the Bronx, and that he has gotten away with thousands of dollars worth of cellphones.
