2ds agoA West Hempstead man was arrested Saturday for allegedly performing a lewd act in front of an 11-year-old girl.
Police say they received a report that the girl witnesses a male inappropriately touch himself in Halls Pond Park just before 4 p.m.
The victim informed her father, who authorities say also observed the incident.
Officers then located 31-year-old Avigdor Goldemberg and placed him under arrest without incident.
Police say he faces charges for public lewdness and child endangerment.
