Suffolk County detectives are searching for the suspect involved in a shooting in Mastic Beach.

Police say six shots were fired toward a house on Alder Drive Thursday night. Two of those struck the home.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. and the shooter fled on foot toward Queen Road.

Police say no one was injured during the shooting.

A neighbor told News 12 off camera that he saw a large police presence at the corner of Adler Drive and Queen Road until around 1 a.m.

Police say no arrests have been made.
