11h agoPolice say a 50-year-old man died in a crash on the Bronx River Parkway early Sunday morning.
Officers received a call about the crash on the parkway near East Fordham Road. They found the victim in an overturned car with multiple injuries.
The man was removed from the car and taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he died.
The NYPD is investigating the cause of the crash.
According to data from the city's Vision Zero Initiative, almost 20 people have been killed in crashes so far this year.
