NYPD: 1 dead, 1 hospitalized after Castle Hill robbery

Police said it happened just before 6 p.m. on Seward Avenue between Pugsley and Olmstead avenues.

Police say a man is dead and another in stable condition in the hospital after a robbery in Castle Hill.
Police identified the man who died as 26-year-old Tyreek Moore.
Authorities say they received reports of a robbery on Seward Avenue just before 6 p.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, they said they saw Moore with a gunshot wound to the back and a 24-year-old with pain and bruising to the head.
They were taken to NYC Health and Hospitals Jacobi where Moore was pronounced dead. The 24-year-old is in stable condition -- he was hit on the side of the head with a gun, police say.
Police say whoever did this managed to take a wallet and a cellphone.
Police say they're searching for three men wearing all black and a woman wearing all gray.
