Police are looking for three people who slashed their victims and attempted to rob them in the Bronx.
The two incidents happened on Feb. 22 at two different locations and at different times, police say.
“I’m very concerned...because I come by myself, I leave by myself," said Shirley Gates, who goes to Morris Heights every day to take care of her sister.
The first attack happened just after midnight in front of 70 Burnside Ave. where police say they slashed a 52-year-old man across the face.
An hour later at Creston Avenue and East 182nd Street, police say they slashed a 40-year-old man across the face and tried to remove his wallet. They were unsuccessful and ran away.
Police ask anyone with any information about these incidents to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
