A multi-car crash Sunday night in East Massapequa resulted in several injuries, according to Nassau police.
Officers shut down eastbound Sunrise Highway near Sunrise Mall after the accident.
Police say two cars were parked on the side of Sunrise Highway, one which was a police car. They say then a third car hit The parked police cruiser around 7:30 p.m.
According to police, no one was inside the parked cruiser when it was hit.
News 12 was told two police officers had minor injuries and someone from one of the other cars who was hurt needed medical attention.
Police still had Sunrise Highway eastbound closed near Sunrise Mall as of Sunday night.
