The New York State Park Police is introducing a new member to its agency.
Meet K-9 Kairos! A 14-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer, originally imported from Greece.
Kairos, or “Kai,” will be partnered up with Officer A. McCumber, the first female K-9 officer in the history of the agency.
This week, Kai is getting trained in explosive detection.
Officials say Kai can be seen this summer at work at the Jones Beach Theater on Long Island.
