Strong winds and cooler continue overnight after rain sparked flooding in parts of Riverhead.

A lot of accidents were seen on the roads as puddles caused vehicles to lose control and skid off the road.
The Southampton town director of emergency management says residents should clean up leaves from their homes to avoid potentially clogging the drains.
Drivers are urged to avoid driving through water when it is not clear how deep it is.
