Newington crash kills 4 people, including high school senior

Four people were killed in a three-car crash Saturday in Newington.
Police say it happened on Willard Avenue at Greenlawn Avenue around 9 a.m.
Despite life-saving efforts, four victims died at the scene, according to authorities. One person who was involved in the crash did survive and sustained minor injuries.
Police have not provided information on what caused the crash.
Newington Public Schools announced one of the victims was senior Gabriela Difo. School officials said Difo's mother Florinda Tineo and aunt Jeannette Tineo were also killed.
The name of the fourth person killed has not yet been released.
School officials say Florinda Tineo had another daughter, Grace Difo, who was not involved in the accident and is a Newington High School junior. Jeannette Tineo leaves behind a son, Jayriel Garcia, who is a freshman.
Crisis support staff will be available Monday for students and staff.
