Nassau police help East Meadow woman deliver baby at her home

Officers Joseph Tuffarelli and Chris Makastchian responded to an East Meadow home for a call of a 34-year-old woman giving birth in the living room.

Nassau County police officers helped an East Meadow woman in labor Tuesday morning.
Officers Joseph Tuffarelli and Chris Makastchian responded to an East Meadow home for a call of a 34-year-old woman giving birth in the living room.
Nassau police medics Katlyn Billian and Valerie Sidel came in to help deliver the healthy baby boy at 9:11 a.m.
News 12 was told the mother and baby are stable and doing well at a hospital.
