Nassau officials are reminding residents to make sure they have preparedness kits for themselves and their pets in case another major storm hits during hurricane season.
Those kits should include a three-day supply of food and water, a battery-powered radio, a flashlight, a first-aid kit and extra batteries.
A full list of items for an emergency kit can be found on Ready.gov.
