Nassau officers honored for tracking down man accused of fatal wrong-way crash

Two Nassau officers were honored as the county's top cops for apprehending the man accused in a wrong-way crash that killed two Roslyn teenagers.
Nassau County legislators presented officers Kevin Conley and Kyle Fagan with a proclamation Monday detaining Amandeep Singh, who police say was driving drunk in Jericho during the May crash.
Ethan Falkowitz and Drew Hassenbein, who were standout middle school tennis players, were killed in the collision.
The officers tracked down Singh, who police say ran away from the accident and was found hiding in a nearby parking lot.
