Nassau lawmakers to vote on marijuana ban at county-owned facilities
Nassau County is expected to take legislative action to prohibit marijuana use at county-owned facilities.
Although New York decriminalized marijuana for those 21 and older, county
Republicans are intending to vote on a bill Monday that would prohibit its use at Nassau County beaches and parks.
The bill is intended to target properties that do not allow the use of
cigarettes, like golf courses.
The full Legislature will vote on Monday at 1 p.m.
