The Nassau County District Attorney's Office has launched an investigation into County Executive Ed Mangano's administration on allegations that he may have criminally used taxpayer resources and personnel.

Residents in Baldwin say fliers that appeared to be campaign literature were delivered to their homes a week ago by county employees on county time.

Mangano's office claims the fliers are part of his government outreach program.

His spokesperson claims this is all part of a political witch hunt by Democratic candidates.
