Multiple arrests made after body parts from 2 Yonkers residents found across Long Island

Suffolk County police have charged Steven Brown, 44, Jeffrey Mackey, 38, Amanda Wallace, 40, all of of 25 Railroad Ave. Amityville, along with Alexis Nieves, 33, who is homeless.

Multiple arrests have been made after body parts belonging to two Yonkers residents were found scattered across Long Island.
Sources indicate that the arrests stemmed from a search warrant executed at a home in Amityville Tuesday.
Suffolk County police have charged Steven Brown, 44, Jeffrey Mackey, 38, Amanda Wallace, 40, all of of 25 Railroad Ave. Amityville, along with Alexis Nieves, 33, who is homeless, the with hindering prosecution 1st degree, tampering with physical evidence, and concealment of a human corpse.
They are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on March 6.

The discovery of chopped-up body parts in West Babylon and at Bethpage State Park prompted the investigation. Police believe that these discoveries are related to body parts previously found in Babylon a week ago.
The victims have been identified as a 59-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, but their names are being withheld for now. Their last known address was in Yonkers, but it's unclear when they last lived there, where they lived, and when they were last seen.
Yonkers police stated that they did not have any active missing persons cases related to this investigation and were not involved in the investigation. They only found out about it when Suffolk County police made the information public. While Yonkers police hasn't been involved in the actual investigation, the department does say their officers are offering their support.
