Service is operating in both directions on the Hempstead branch of the Long Island Rail Road on one of two tracks as of 11 p.m., the MTA says.
Trains were previously suspended in both directions due to a vehicle on the tracks near Stewart Manor.
The MTA says riders could expect residual delays.
